My friend Amy and I started blogging about our experience with Mastering the Art of French Cooking. I made a few recipes....just a f*ck of a lot of work and we weren't that impressed. Maybe we just can't appreciate the subtle flavors of french sauces.
So....I thought to myself - self, you like mexican food, why don't you try making the recipes in Mexico - One plate at a time by Rick Bayless. Good idea, self. I bought the book from amazon.com and it was supposed to be delivered today. But, as we live in the sticks, hopefully tomorrow.
Ah....mexican food - full of spice and flavor. Can't wait!
